"325 lbs and he could still fit behind the wheel? HOLY MOLY!"

It's an S class....big arse fooseball players of the NFL, basketbool players of the NBA bling these cars out all the time.

I'm surprised he DIDN'T fit...he's probably 5'4" and 352lbs.

Quad's post clears it up. The insurance guy was obviously in the right, and the court's judgement makes sense. The car was a lemon, and the defence that he was too heavy is completely preposterous.

The fact that he "could hardly fit behind the steering wheel" only proves that he's a dumb, vain, fat-ass. Nothing else.

To me the excuse that MB used dosen't hold water and is very demeaning to this customer because of his weight. Its very tackey of MB to even raise this issue with the court or anybody else for that matter. I do believe a court would award him damages for their blatant treatment they have given him. I have seen a similar case here where they used a man's weight against him because of an injury at work. This man had worked there for 26 years and was actually 2 lbs less at this time then when he was hired. The Company looked very Foolish in Court and lost the case.  ;D

I doubt anyone here knows enough of the details of this situation to post definitive responses - but from what little we know, it would appear that the heavy dude started the action by claiming his car was broken and wouldn't support his weight (when clearly it should have), and he wanted out of the lease. I think the dude used his weight as an excuse to terminate the lease on a vehicle that was seemingly giving him trouble. I don't think it's wrong for MB to use his weight in counter-claims as the dude started it. This is akin to someone buying a carving knife from Cutco, and killing someone with the knife, and the hiers of the dead person sue Cutco for selling the knife.

Ridiculous IMO - a German "victim" trying to rip off a corporation.
