I am looking to purchase a 2005 Accord Sedan LX-G what would be a good discount at this time of the year. Thank you for your advice.

$2000 margin in the car. Ask for $1500 off, you should get pretty close to that, at least $1200 or so. There are not a lot of Accords left of any kind in Ontario, don't know about elsewhere. You also have a $1350 credit after tax. If you get $1200 off, your total after tax and credit should be around $29,535.

HSG, some dealerships must be hoarding them then.  I drove past Halton Honda's "back lot compound" the other day and they had tons of Accords.  I even spotted at least 2 of the ultra-rare 6 speed coupes I believe!

Coupes are plentiful but then nobody sells many Accord Coupes. That's why Honda has the $2350 rebate on Coupes. I know that other dealers have been trying to get our last few Accords from us on dealer trade and we don't have a square to spare...(Quoting the Seinfeld episode where Elaine is desperate for a piece of T.P.)
