Mascara Follow-up
« on: August 21, 2005, 02:57:33 pm »
I finally got around to working on the sun visor that was laden with mascara or eye pencil.  Thank you for all your suggestions!

I used Shout carpet cleaner on it (comes in a yellow spray bottle).  I sprayed it on and immediately blotted with a dry terry towel.  I then blotted again with a slightly damp terry towel.  It worked like a charm!  I had to do a repeat on one spot but it took it right out.  I then wiped the visor with the damp cloth.  Honda must make the roof liner and visor covers out of a synthetic material on the Accord.  I'm relieved it's gone.

Maybe I fret over my vehicles too much. :-)

Shout it Out!

Actually... I'm going to assume that you either hit a squirrel and it somehow shot up into your coil OR you ran over road kill and the dried out flattened carcass flung up in there.  :-)  Come on.... fess up.
