Morty, when can we expect to see winter tire stock rolling in?  I'm not going to get caught this year without snows for the Subaru (we bought it in January last year...) and will order as early as possible.
No place I'd rather be...

I just got winters in today from the tire shop I deal with in Kelowna, John. Could be supply problems this year I'm hearing so I'd get on it quickly. TT should have tires now, but -- yo, Morty?

Normally tire bookings come in starting September.  Ovr50, why supply problems?

Tires are slowly rolling in. We have more options than ever, but stock is limited as demand for dedicated winters is growing. I guess people are finally buying into the concept of the safety true winter tires offer.

If you are concerned or have a vehicle with a tough fitment, doesnt hurt to start checking early. If you need some help give us a call or email and we will be happy to help.

I am told that there have been strikes at some plants (European tires mainly) and in Western Canada at least, the Vancouver container post labor problems have created a 4 to 6 week backup. Regardless, why wait until later, if you can do it now? My new ones are sitting in the tire shop, mounted and balanced on their new rims - all I have to do is take the HL in there for the switch when the time comes.

Container strike could definitely add a wrinkle....hopefully things will clear up soon and it wont be a problem. Definitely a good idea to be prepared. The one big benefit is better selection, as time goes on things start to dry up.
