ovr50,you are right,thinking about snow tires now. I know my shop[dealership] had a hard time getting some popular sizes in michilins last winter. BTW,I like the look of the black steelys. Makes the 'zuki look like a rally car.

Well, I've pretty much decided on the Continental 4x4 WinterContac in 225/70/16, 102H size for the Highlander. My tire shop friends got 4 of them for me to see, and they look like they will be just fine. I am a bit familiar with the tire, as I had a set of them on the RAV4 last winter. They were very quiet on the hiway, which is important to me. I also wanted a speed rating over the "Q" basic one; as "H" falls between "T" and "V", it is rated to 210 kph. I don't like the "squirminess" of the Q rated at speed.
