I'd say a slight over-reaction going on there. Armed rebellion? Yikes. Besides the Italian armies record as an Axis power in WW2 wasn't stellar...

Armed rebellion?

If gas prices hit $2.00 a litre this year many ppl will wish they had a fire arm in their home because the economic fall out will be horrible.

Or nothing like being pulled out of your car and robbed and shot by Toronto gang bangers who all carry restricted auto fire guns with inpunity.  The cops catch them with an auto hand gun one day and they are out on the street the next.  Police in the GTA have it bad.

A platform of lower gas prices and an extreme judicial crackdown on gang bangers will win an election in Ontario.

BTW, my Italian friend was born after WW2 and he came to Canada as a very poor kid and look at him now.  Obviously, did something right. Well at least one I know.  I should have only been so rebellious.

Sounds like Godwin's law might be making an appearance in this thread. :(  Good thing it's no longer August!  :surrend:

So I will close out the thread I started by stating the final regular gas price in August for Montreal:  $1.34.9 / litre.

That is up about 25 cents from August 1.

Here comes September... :o

It's not only the oil that is in short supply, but also short in refineries.
