X-Trail Needs Elbow Holders!

I'm in the X-trail vs. CR-V cesspool (and swirly).  Deciding factor maybe if arm rests are available to installed in the X-Trail, post-purchase.  Anyone know if such items exist?

Hi Syddie,
that was the deciding factor for me when I chose the cr-v over the x-trail.

Maybe they want us to always keep two hands on the wheel  I agree they could have done a better job.

The X-Trail's left armrest is fine. If I'm taking a long drive I'll put a folded jacket or sweater on the centre console armrest to make it a bit higher. If I were shorter and had to sit closer to the wheel, it might be a problem because the centre armrest is pretty far aft.
On a related topic, I think the X-trail driver's seat is incredibly good for long-haul driving. I can do back-to-back 500-mile days with no discomfort whatever, and I'm a creaky old fart.

Smain, I don't know about you but my both hands are pretty much always on the wheel even when my elbows are on the armrests in my Jetta. It was the same in my CRV if I remember correctly. I would never consider a vehicle without good armrests on both sides of the front passengers' seats.

Thanks for the enlightenment (and photos).}

So I'm sure: am I correct that post-purchase armrests do not exist in the market place?

Also, does Honda ever have a rate sale in the autumn?

Shnak aren't you 7 something? You can probably use the armrest in the back seat!!  I'm only 5'6" so most armrest don't work for me.

Yeah I'm 7'11". Every team in the NBA offered me contracts but I turned them down.

I think you meant the "Big Gulp," Saf.  Although, something tells me that would be overstating it a wee bit.
