Encountered this recently, when I got a new intake pipe installed and That ground wire wasnt reattached, since it was bolted to the flange and removed when the guy had to torch the bolts.
Is this an 'important' ground?
What was it there for?
Could it be related to the O2 sensors?
Just out of curiosity - as it was there originally for a reason, I suppose.
.
I think I found my answer.....
http://www.asashop.org/autoinc/dec2002/mech.cfm
.
Now the question would be... what type of O2 senors are in OBDI and OBDII vehicles......?
