- DON'T pay their rip-off Pre Delivery Expense Fees. Do the numbers PDE fees divided by the shop rate. What does a mechanic do on a new car for 7+ hours. The fact is, nothing! Besides, you are buying a new car. Why should you pay to make sure everything is OK?

Hcrv, do you know if Honda and Toyota dealers are willing to negotiate PDE?  Or is it just the domestic dealers?

Well I don't negotiate the details. If you want to have fun with them, ask what they do for 8 full hours (based on the shop rate).

I just offer then an out-the-door price. If they need to charge $2000 for PDE, I just tack that onto the discount. I like the part when they say, " we need/we have to charge Admin and PDE fees". Show me where it is written that we "need" to.
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

A car has to do more than just perform; it has to stir your soul!

A true driver's car does not have cup holders.
