I made an error in my last post.  Meant to say that 0W30 on the market today is likely all Group 4 oil.

The Mobil 1 0W20 is a Group 3 oil.

Agreed that the "0" is important for cold start ups, but the "3" is gonna give it slightly more protection when it heats up and under load.



Amsoil are group IV and some V and most of ENEOS stuff is IV/V
How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

I read somewhere that penzoil platinum is group4, PAO synthetic.    if that's correct, does that mean it's better than mobil 1?

not that i care anymore,.  i gotta start buying up castrol TWS 10W-60...

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

Depends on grade.  Probably their 5W40 is, but they seem to steer clear of the subject.
