Once again, Toyota responds briskly to competitions. Honda and Mazda are coming out with facelifted Accord/6. New Passat is coming out this August. New Sonata will be a huge hit for sure. But Nissan still haven't got any news of replacing their Altima.

Me neither. Why would it be on Honda/Acura forums?

Nissan has just done a mid cycle refresh with the 05, so don't expect anything until 07 unless of course they decided to copy Toyota.

If that's really the Camry, it looks pretty darned good!

Where's Shnak for that "Toyota/Honda will raise the bar" comment?

thoe pics were so fuzzy it was hard to tell what it looked like. It would be unusual for Toyota to make their Camry look sporty, it is about the most conservative car on the market and their customers like it that way

Aye mama.. Obviously they're going after the Camry's 'boring' image.

They've clearly ripped styling cues from the 6 and Acura TL/TSX. The slitted headlights, hood ridges etc. The back looks like a BMW/Maxima warp.

I think I might just have to move on from the 6 when the 07 lineups come out.

A Camry with style??  wut up wit dat?

From those fuzzy pix, it looks pretty cool to me.  Don't know how well their intended market will think of it.
When Honda restyled the Accord, my dad-in-law who owns a 2000 Accord said he would not have even considered the new one becuase it was too funky lookin.

Toyota's product planners probably thought if Nissan can transformed a boring Altima's image into a bold one, same goes for Mazda 6. Why Toyota can't do it if Camry wants to attract younger audience.
