Can anyone tell me who makes the predator gts tires from candian tire. I have a 99 sufire gt and bought tigerpaws touring which i hate and want to replace them with something that is not going to brake the bank. I liked my goodyears but they were rather pricey.

Peditors are supplied to them by Goodyear.
My opinion is don't buy them;not very good quality.
They also sell BFG Precepts which are a good prem touring and you can usually get them at a good price if you wait for a sale.
If you talk with the servc mgr they should be able to pro-rate the Tiger Paws and give you a good deal on a replacement;you only pay the difference (retail to retail less the amt covered under pro-rating).

Unfortunately...unless there is some sort of manufacturers defect with the tires, they will not prorate them for you. This is something that is only done under a warranty. They will not do it if you just dont like how they perform.

What size are you after?

Tires I can steer you toward are: BFG Traction TA, Falken ZE512, Hankook V4es, Kumho ASX...are all good tires. Hope this helps.

I don't know what sort of prices you're looking for, but my dad has put Michellin Pilots on a couple of his sports cars (Acura NSX and Benz SL500) and he loves them...

I'm thinking about getting them for my car if/when I put wheels on it, but they get pricey quick.

Heard lots of good things on the Falken 512 - given the prices on the TireTrends link above, they sell themselves in my mind.  That is, assuming you want that type of tire, and not something that is a "performance" tire.

He has a Sunfire!!

Traction T/A is the best tire for the money, by far...  Michelin just came out with the Pilot Exalto A/S, similar to the Traction T/A, but stickier...
