Ooh cool bike!  Enjoy the ride!  BTW, the forum is for motorcycles too.  Check out this text from the main page:

Well, I have a 4-day loooooooooooooong week-end!

My bro and a bunch of friends have made tradition for a number of years to go camping on the May 2-4 week-end, and occassionally in Aug as well. Last year was were completely drenched, but still was a lot of fun. This year it's pretty chilly, but we'll see how she goes. I'd much rather put on extra layers than get wet, let me tell ya!

We go to a private park just south of Napanee.

But there's some hitches. I have Friday off but don't think anyone else does, so I was thinking this morning that I may trek to Montreal for the day to see family/shop or visit a friend in Kingston. From there I'd join everyone else. Also, a friend who has never gone camping (can you believe it?) has to work Saturday but not Monday, while my bro's wife has to work Monday! So, I think I'll be driving someplace east to Montreal/Kingston on Thursday night/Fri AM, then back Saturday night to Whitby/Brooklin to pick-up my friend bringing him to Napanee, and possibly home to stay Sunday night or Monday night depending if my bro's wife has a ride home. As if you couldn't tell, I enjoy driving, but yeah, it may be even a little too much for me! But I haven't been on a serious road trek in awhile, so could be an adventure We'll see how she plays out. I know it's going to be a fun week-end!

And I think I'll need to use cruise as me no likey dem dere tickets.

EDIT: Blessid Harper - can't stand the guy. While Layton is ultra lame as well, promising all with the knowledge he has no hope of getting leadership. I actually like Martin and thinks he would run the country well if he was given the opportunity - loves the country, wants the best for it, and would like to see us lead the world in some areas... his vision is mine - but just lacks charisma as a person. He's probably so sensible with grey issues that people see him as wishy-washy, even tho too often people dismiss complicated issues as simple ones. Hope the Libs don't get turfed, but no matter it's a sad state of affairs.

Best thing that happened all day - to Hades with Harper and his ultra-right wing neo-conservative Christian tribe. Harper has ice-water for blood.

In BC today, we get to vote on which disease we'll have afflicting our province for the next 4 years.  Can you tell I'm excited about the choices we get to pick from?

LMAO @ 'MILF'.

I saw a US trash magazine with Bill Clinton on the cover and Belinda as the 'other woman'.

Rather humourous.

I don't find her so bad. In fact, she's the only one who quasi spoke up when she thought something was wrong with the Conservative's direction and didn't completely tow the party-line.

QUAD, I'd REALLY like to drive cross North America... S to TX, W to the Grand Canyon and LA, N to Vancouver Island, E to Banff and home. I'd more 'see' things than 'do' things, but would need at least 2.5 weeks I'd imagine. Plan on taking 4-5 days for a Las Vegas trek this year as well. In the coming years want to go to Japan, Europe, and there's talk of some friends going to an all-inclusive in Jan/Feb. I'm not so hung-up on the Carribean as I'm not one to lay around on the beach, but if the price is right and everyone's goin', why not? All-incl's are the way to go there.

Yes, but at least under the Liberals we have a decent economy and a feeling of positiveness.

I would vote for a three-legged pig who farts out his ears before I'd ever vote NDP. Remember the late 90s when the rest of the country did well and BC headed directly into "have-not" status. For me, it's a no-brainer.

I agree with you, Ovr.  NDP left a very bad taste in my mouth.  I never liked them to begin with, and when they came into power and drove the province into the ground, that convinced me to NEVER vote for them.  I am left with choosing between a small upstart party (with no chance of winning) or the Liberals.  I guess it's Gordo for me, too.

All governments waste money. The Conservatives far worse than the Lib's as far as I'm concerned. And what's an early election going go cost? $250-300M? The way I see it things like the Gun Registry have been huge sinkholes - I'm not bothered by the Sponsorship Scandal that much. It shouldn't happen, but while the amount involved is a lot to you or me it's not a lot to the government as a whole.

I strongly believe in the Liberals. Balance the books... maintain what I believe are Canadian values... help out other countries and only beef up our military to the point we can defend in some situations and have modern equipment for what we do have (let's face it, we're 30M people, are surrounded by land, and if the US wanted us they could take us in 5 mins)... keep social programs and adopt better ones (some of Quebec's programs are models for everywhere... child breakfasts, this, that, and the other)... cut waste... etc etc etc. I think they have the right ideas, but need to follow through.

They don't give-in to the US on EVERYthing, but obviously are agreeable on most and keep mostly friendly relations. I'd hate to see the cosiness with Harper-Bush

Face it, you won't be 100% happy with any government. Taxes won't be eliminated to any great degree. I like the decisions and stance of the Libs on many core issues I believe in, and the direction they always propose.

I'm watching developments closely, as I'm incredibly interested in the political climate. Especially after living in the US and seeing how ours is different - and preferred IMO.

Knowing that politics is a no no on a auto forum  I must say I can do without the instability that an election right now would cause the country.  Quite a shrewd political move for Martin and particularily Stronach.  What she was doing/where she was going in an all white male, anti abortion, bible thumping political movement was a puzzle to me.

Balance the books...

Agreed.  Number one priority in my book. Something the Conservatives in Ontario (Harris) failed to do.  They added something like 80 Billion to Ontario's debt while cutting taxes for the upper middle class and above.

I think I'll do something similar as I need to take a break between car shows. Definitely will need a few Brews in between.

Brig, when you typed 'Topdress and mulch..' I instinctively read 'Topless and mulch..'

Silly me!

EDIT: Hmmmm James, that sounds mighty tempting. You have a predesignated scream-route you normally take people on? I plan on coming to 'our nation's capital' this year... thinking definitely on Canada Day, so don't be putting an offer on the table with the thought I wouldn't be taking you up on it.

Hey Brigitte,

I don't think there is enough beer there.

As for my weekend, not too much.  Spend time with the family and hope to have good weather for some gardening.

Oh and a Costco run for a few tons of BBQ'able substances.
