Anyone have info about the 2006 Sentra?

It was funny... we compared a stock 05 rsx to a type s, and they both looked exactly level in height.  why bother spending time and money on lowering ride height for handling, if they produce no effect!

and initial, those cars look like efficient little cars: nothing the North American market would ever handle.

The third one from top looks like a revised Fit to me.

I don't know if it makes a difference or not but, RSXs have 16-inch wheels, Type-S have 17-inch.

Oh yes that's actually a good point.. But the premiums 205/55VR16's have a radius of 12.4 inches, whereas the S's 215/45VR17's have a radius of 12.3 inches.    That means the type S should be slightly lower than the stock BEFORE suspension tweaking.  But honestly, I think a full tank of gas would lower the car as much as Acura does!

Found some pics and articals on 2006 Sentra today while surfing around....ugly ugly ugly.
After all the good work Nissan has done lately I cannot believe that someone in the company would even consider this styling disaster for a replacement model.

This is one of them...I simply did a Google search
and searched the hits.
Initial_d has a post from 26th April above.
the third car down appears to be the same as what I have seen.
I am waiting to check on the Nissan corp website at work and see if I can find any more info.

Doubt this will be it.  Past articles show this model as the one being rejected by the Nissan boss.  I think Nissan will come up with something much better than that.

everything I have heard said that no changes were forthcoming to the Sentra this fall, it will be all new next year for the 2007 model year.

I heard the same but who knows for sure.  Nissan needs to do well on this one with Mazda having set the rules with the 3.

I can see that pictured sentra selling on the streets of Europe, Asia and Oceania... but not North america.

I'm guessing North America could get a tuned-up Sentra.  It's NICE TO SEE TUNING UP here rather than TUNING DOWN...
