Coolnoob,
I'm fairly new to this forum and these guys have been great!  I own 2 Integras myself and love them. It's ashame that the car sat for 3 yrs.
After watching so many car repair shows and talking to these guys, I would suggest you get it towed to your mechanic and have him inspect it and see what needs to be done.  And from there, you can decide to either repair it and put it back on the road or sell it to someone that will probably turn it into a street racer.

I have issues with my 1990 Integra, but I can't part with it:-(

Eric, your bike must be a tad newer than mine! The old oiler gixxers run so hot that regular makes my bike sound like a popcorn popper!

Well I was going to say that CBR600s, which are a pretty common sport bike run a 12.0:1 compression ratio and I don't see how regular would not gernade those over a short period of time.

I have a 99 YZ125 and if I put 87 in that it would melt.

I realize I started this thread almost a year ago but considering the abuse a 12 year old car(180,000km) took at the time, sitting outside UNtouched for over 3 years unwinterized and all, AND  as of now driven it for almost a year which has yet to fail me.  I think it deserves a followed up.  Also you've guys took the time to help a fresh newb and I didn't properly follow up so felt quilty  :-[

In a nutshell: a new battery, fuel filter and other minor parts, rotors machined, all fluids flushed and filled, and a full tune-up.  History unknown so changed the timing belt for added measure. Also the tank was inspected and no rust.  Other than that the car was thorougly inspected and turned out fine.  Since then this Integra has served me well.  After 16,500 km, it idles smoothly, starts everytime, no fluid leaks, burns very little oil, zero squeaks and rattles and still quite responsive when I push it hard.  My friend who test drove it even made a small reference to a Mazda 3.  He was quite shocked.  All in all I am a very happy camper and a thank you to everyone that replied  :)

That's good to hear.  You did all the right things by flushing and changing all fluids and the timing belt.  Did you throw in a new water pump with the T-belt?  Also I think it was better for you that it had a manual tranny.  Honda makes a great motor.
