I have a vacumm gauge mounted on my A-piller. Now when I'm doing 100 km/h my motor knocks. My needle on my vacumm gauge points to 10 psi. If I let off the gas it stops knocking at around 8 or 9
but then I slow down...If I go faster then it stops knocking at around 12 or 13 psi and I'm speeding...
When I engage auto-throttle (Cruise control) My needle points right at 10 psi on level road all the while going ticka ticka ticka...It's driving me mad!! Thats why I asked about deisel fuel in an erlyer post, cuz I'm thinking of trading in my vitara for one of those deisel liberty's.
My engien has 90,467 km on it so far, change oil right at 5000 km give or take a few feet, hasen't had a tune up, thats at 100,000 km, has k&n air filter, Iridium spark plugs have all been indexed
Is there a gas cleaner or something for this problem?
I use Esso, Mohawk and petro canada. octan-86
