A buddy of mine recently told me a story about a brother in-law you had a company lease.  Prior to returning the lease, he (brother in law) slipped the mechanic 20 bucks to fill in fictitious dates pertaining to scheduled oil changes...

I find it frustrating to know there are a bazillion ways to get screwed on a used car purchase..... hence the term " buyer beware"

Thanks for the input. I guess I have nothing to lose by going to small claims court. I'll let you know what happens.
