Anyway, if indeed his actions are slanderous (which I highly doubt -- why the hell would he waste time to make something like this up?!), the dealership is free to go after him legally. Dangerous ground? Oh brother.
Sterling the Crusader, why don't you email the dealership, give them the link to this thread and see if they wish to offer their side of the story if you're that concerned about it? |

I've never met MD, but he's one of the most gracious, kind, gentlemanly and funny people I've seen around here. He has great knowledge, and has more diplomacy in his little finger than I could ever hope to have. I respect him for that. He is truly a unique and welcome part of this forum that we all enjoy. A prime example is his response to the diatribe from Sterling, above. I wouldn't have been so nice.
So, when something happens that makes him blow his top, you KNOW there's something to it. No doubt in my mind - whatsoever.
It pains me to see someone think otherwise. Sterling, give MD a break, and save your wrath for the trolls and for those that don't have a facking clue. |

I have met MD and will be glad to do so again, should I have the good fortune of crossing paths with him again. He is a personable, intelligent, thoughtful, well-spoken guy...much more mature than his years (and he even LOOKS younger than he IS), seemingly patient and cool-headed.

I vote for MD too... but what's going on here?! I sort of expected the template reply. There might be several people, profiled or otherwise who get refused a test drive. Sure, its not fair, but I never have high expectations of a car dealership. If one dealership pisses me off, I'll buy from another, if I'm keen on a particular car. |
