Well done James....excellent review.  Working on a second career?

BTW, I won't mind if you keep the Quattroposte review to yourself, Romeo. ;-)

Something else I failed to mentioned about my caddy experience.

When driving or parked, I noticed many a people giving the car a second glance, it is an eye catcher.  Either that or they were looking at the price tags on the side.

Can't wait for the TL review.

My suggestion for your next review: a Volvo S60/V70 R. I'm sure you will like it!

It was Definitely the Car. The low price on the Tags only helped make them drool more.

IMO, the Cadillac CTS is eye-catching just like the Pontiac Aztek and Honda Element are eye-catching. People are attracted by what is different and what is uncommon. The CTS is both different with its angles and not that common on the roads. Not really my cup of tea, especially the ugly chromed grille and chromed wheels (I hate chromed wheels!), but I do find that the CTS is one of the better looking GM vehicle on the roads. Compared to rehashes over rehashes they keep putting out every year like the G6, Cobalt/Pursuit and Allure, the CTS is refreshing. Now if only they could work out the quality of their interiors...

Just wait a few months and dealerships will be full of 300/300C for a fraction of their MSRP, just like there was always tons of cheap Intrepids in Chrysler dealerships.

It might take a year or two because it is a brand new design, but don't worry, it will happen eventually...

EDIT: just checked on autotrader and there already are 58 Chrysler 300 for sale in Ontario alone... isn't that a lot of 2005 models? Most of them have less than 30000km... Why is it that so many people are already selling/trading their Chrysler 300?! About half of those are the V8 hemi too...

I actually agree with Shank that the used car market will be filled with 300C's.  Rentals will be dumped in a while, a lot of people bought them when they first came out....so logic would imply that the more you sell new, the more there will be in the used market.  However, I'm surprised there's so many already up for grabs.  It'll be kind of the same in 2-3 years when a bunch of 325i Executive Editions will be off lease.

And you don't?

Solstice?  That won't happen until at least August September I assume.  I will try out a Z4 come spring as well.

Price DROP!

Haha, now it is listed for $1000 less in the autotrader for $29,995, there are also 2 more Manual CTSs with 20K km on them for $29,500

Hmmmmm this would be a really nice car at $25k :-)

Even I would be interested in a recent CTS with low mileage and plenty of warranty left for $25k!!
