Just picked up my 05 Avalon XLS.  I guess it must be the wifes because she won't get out.  Very nice car.  Rides great and is super quiet.  If she ever gets out I'll check on performance.  I think we are happy Toyota fans.

The new Avolon looks like an excellent vehicle. I'm sure that you will be happy with it, congrats. Pics? I would also be curious on hearing some sort of review.

Absolutely congrats on a fine purchase and welcome to the forum.

As the others have suggested, we'd love it if you could post some pics.  I had a quick look at the new Avalon at the AutoShow and that's all I've seen (or know) of it.

What other cars did you consider?  What made you choose it over the competitors?

Very nice vehicle indeed.  Good buy 4 eyes.  I've been trying to get my momma to buy one and get rid of that 1994 Corolla or hers.  So far no go...she loves that Corolla.....even offered to pay for part of the new car for her.  Not budging.  Anyway, pics would be great.

Welcome to the board and nice purchase!  I am test driving the XLS, package C on Friday.  Can you tell me what you paid for it?  Did you buy or lease?  The lease rates are terrible, I think 7.7%.  Which package did you get and what colour?

Thanks for any info!

I have taken pictures of my grey Avalon but don't know much about computer so don't know how to send them. I haven't driven it enough to give a report but the car is so quiet that you can appreciate the great stereo system. It is definitely the most comfortable car I have driven and the car being replaced is an STS cadillac.  B package price was just north of $48 Canadian

Keep trying 4eyes....you got the code syntax correct....now you just got to attach the images.  They've all got to be less than 30kb in size....if you're having troubles with that, you can just let us know and one of the more geeky folks on the forum can shrink it down...

I saw the new Avalon XLS model at the Toyota shop last week. It was a white one, and I think the new one looks 100% better than it's predecessor. A grand improvement. It was stickered at MSRP $44 something. I think it will sell much better than before.

4eyes could be driving a Lexus ES330 for less than $40,000.00, with superior warranty and service instead of the industry average stuff.
Or did I miss something here?
