Looks credible.  I like it a lot - sort of a snarling version of the original.

Looks good, didn't mess up the original concept but did a decent updating. Should appeal to the Miata fans. I like it.

It is nice, and the bump in horsepower to 188 is awesome.  I think it will appeal to Miata fans, but IMO they needed a drastic change to get sales from people that would thing it's too girlie.  This version is certainly LESS girlie than the last, but it's STILL too bubly for my taste.

But good lease / finance rates could change my mind :-)

I like it.  The RX-stlye fender flares seem just the prescription to inject a little testosterone into the styling.

I take back my comments, I really like it, here are some more shots with better angles.  The wheel arches are done nicely.  It really needs a front lip to lower the front a bit :-)

To get a real understanding of how much better this looks, go to www.mazda.ca and look at a current gen miata, Man is the new miata WAY better, it's insanely better.  The wheel arches make it much more inviting.

I like the styling and it should sit well with the loyal Mazda following. With the soon to be released Sky and Solstice this small market segment will now be crowded. Not all will survive and It will be interesting to see what will happen in pricing and incentives in the coming 12-24 months.

What's with Mazda and the clear tail lights!!! People don't want cars that look like they've been riced by 18 years old!!!

Wow, never ever seen a miata in Montreal, it's either i don't go out enough or no one cares about this car.

I think it's that no one that cares about this car, goes out enough. I see them everywhere in the summer. It's a chick car. Not because it's looks feminine... it's because only women can fit in them. They are mostly driven by little guys who look like they've given up on their 12 year MG restoration project. (You know... the ones with the tweed sportscoat, with leather elbow patches)
Sometimes, the problem with your car is in between the steering wheel and the seat.
