Minivan driver with his left foot on the dash. I've seen passengers do it but never a driver before. I wonder if that is going to hurt more in a crash.

I only ever had two model cars when I was a kid and until yesterday I had never seen either car in real life. On my way home from dinner out I saw a white Lamborghini Countach. That car is just batshit insane! And I still love it. |

Not on the way to work but as it is Labour Day, I'll use this thread. Saw a Buick Wildcat today, mid-1960's era. Better still it was in seemingly mint condition. Blue body and white top. It's so big it is hard to believe it is a two-door! |

Not on my way to work, but at the local BMW dealer saw my first in the real BMW X5M in Space Gray. It looked very sharp (for the large, SAV type of vehicle it is) and sounded great (they moved it out of the showroom when I was there - 555hp!!!!). I think it was actually sold to a guy with a very recently minted M3 Sedan and a recent X5, who was trading both in on the X5M. |

I was sitting in traffic at a light, watching the city crew beside me as they finished painting the arrow on the road. Keep in mind, they were on my right, in the curb lane...
They moved the truck ahead, preparing to paint the next arrow. One guy tossed the stencil on the road, and I thought, that's upside down, because it curves to the left, for a left turn arrow...and then I noticed the wet paint on the stencil, so I looked again at the arrrow they'd just painted...and noticed that, in the right hand lane, they'd just painted a lovely left turn arrow. I guess they want people to turn left across 3 lanes of traffic...
Tonight I have to go through there, I'll have to see if I can get a picture. If they haven't noticed it by then. |

2010 MazdaSpeed3 in black. With the dark colour that happy face is more hidden. Biplane 'chasing' a Triplane....don't get to see that very often. Aston Martin Vantage at WOT. Xtrail almost going into a concrete wall. Was driving 427 South taking the ramp onto the Gardiner East which has an off camber ramp (don't know why the didn't fix this when the redid the ramp last year). I jump into the right lane to pass everybody driving correctly and hit the boost. The Xtrail decides to try the same thing and I notice it only inches from the wall. |

How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?

Did anyone know of a bike show on Sunday? Tons of bikes were 'parading' up Yonge street. Bunch of old school red Ferraris. And 2 bikers almost getting hit on the highway. |

Two Bentley 2 door Continentals, both parked near the Ritz (naturally). One was a rag-top. |

I guess this could have been in the sightings going to work but technically I wasn't going to work. I went to hose the Volvo down last night and saw a couple of interesting cars. The first was a 2002 Jaguar XJR that the owner just bought from BC. Looked flawless and it cost the new owner $17k for a car with 62k on the clock. Great car for the money. As I was rolling out a car approached with a stance and width that screams supercar. At first I thought it was a Ferrari but as it passed I spied the GT on the back. Wow a Porsche GT in the flesh, I thought they were unicorns. I considered carjacking him.... |

Yellow Corvette convertible on the 401 yesterday with the plate 'Sick Vet'. He had modified the exhaust and not in a good way. It was loud. We both exited at Bayview and he went north and what a roar. Too loud actually. |

Two non-Ford cars sticking out of a huge dumpster in front of the local Ford dealership. Excellent advertising for the "beater" rebate. |
