I have a 99 STS ,($20,K listed at $64K) for the pass 18 months,  
Great car for the price.The ride is unbeleive.
For $11G there will be very few cars on the road that will touch you.Should be able to take out any ricer out there in sytle.

Our STS  is my wifes drive,I may not drive for a couple of weeks, I think of getting a new car until I get into it and go on the highway . This car can move.
Only problem has been the radio and a water pump.
If you can get an extended warrenty from GM do it.

The March edition of Motor Trend did a write-up on this car as a used purchase. They have rated the years of 1998 to 2003. They state, Remains one of the most rewarding-to-drive Cadillacs ever., a powerful and nimble gadget lovers dream-- as long as its under warranty.

Hey Barrie1.... is there a website for the March Edition of MT?  I am curious to know what they have to say about the 98 328i.... or maybe I will track down the March Issue!!

Don't know about a website as I have the mag here already. They are showing the BMW M6 and the 2004 BMW 530I Sport in this issue. Hope that helps.
