Anyone remember the ads for the "car defroster" that you hooked up to your exhaust pipe? I first saw one of those ads when I was ten and came to the conclusion that.... well, it's been a while since I've seen any more ads for that piece of work.
I also recall a "car jack" that worked with the car's exhaust to inflate a bladder/air pillow to lift the car. It was light and claims were made that uneven surfaces or bad angles posed no threat of a jack tip over. The best one I think, that had a big grin factor was this sort of "cone" that you installed on a RWD car up on a jack. It was a new log splitter that was powered from the car while installed on the hub. It looks like the idea was to whack the tip of the cone with the log to be split, hold tight and allow the twisting action to take care of the woodsplitting chores at hand. It look'd like a giant corkscrew painted orange for "safety"
A few cars that spring to mind that would work well with these items are;
Any V10 car or truck to work the car defroster.(lots of fuel burning, will defrost quicker and melt away the snow in seconds)
A Subaru STi aught suck enough air thru its plenum to inflate 1000 of those "jacks".
To split wood you need tourque, how 'bout a big Benz V8, worked over by the "AMG" folks. You can never be too cool I guess.
Too much, way too much coffee this morning.
