Just got hanhook ice bear w300 and rim from them. Put the order buy phone at 1pm at monday anf got the package at wensday evening.
Super fast! nice. with full set of lug nuts but different size as stock one. So just use the stock one. But I still feel very good.
The only thing is one of the rim has a lot of rust at the back side. All of other three look better . Do not know why but still acceptable.
The tires is really nice. It only cost 3 feet to  stop in 70% ice road at 50km/hour. Compare to my stock tires's 25 feets I really happy with it.
I did not use anyother snow tire so can not give any comparation.
Tks TireTrends!
Still want to know the reason of rust issue.

Glad to hear you got your package quite quickly. Enjoy the tires and give everyone your feedback. As for the rust...we do use take off wheels, which are used and have some imperfections. We try to clean as best we can and also paint the face if necessary. Generally scratching or marks will be caused by road debris and even new steel wheels will have some marks on the rear after a few weeks of driving through winter weather. If the rust appears to be worse than acceptable let us know and we will get you fixed up.

I am OK with that rust. I just want to know why. So actually the rim I got is used. So that's OK now.
If I find it comes worse I will phone you.
So it will not make my car unsafe, right?
BTW: for who is intresting in this snow tire:
I jsut did a 60KMH 90degree right turn on a full snow road(not that kind of soft snow). I feel really good about it.

No safety issue what so ever, just cosmetic. We do sell both new and used steel wheels, just depends on application and availability. Rusting on a steel wheel is something that is not avoidable, but if it is somehting out of the ordinary just let us know.

Glad to hear you feel safe with your winter purchase. Just remember that you still need to drive responsibly. The tires are not fool proof

Just wanted to chime in my very positive experience with the Hankook W300 Ice Bear.  Put them on my Audi allroad and they are truly better than the stock Pirellis in both wet and dry.

In 225-55-17 they're at $150 and in my opinion, pretty good value.  V-rated as well!

Kudos as well from me. My set of W300s' came quite promptly, were easy to install, and have been driving great for the 2-3 weeks I've had them. Compared to my Goodyear Eagle RSAs', they're noisier but feel 'stickier' to the road. I'm in Southern Ontario and we've been tickled w/ a few snowy/freezing rain/icy days.

Xinca...glad to hear it is OK with you. Remember we are here to help, so just contact us with any concerns.

YVR...glad to hear you like your W300's on the All-Road. Keep us posted on how they perform on your car year round. Also want a report on how they are wearing. I am running them on my A4 Avant and very happy with the performance(biased).

Richal...keep us posted on your driving impressions. Noise is different from person to person. Hopefully they aren't obnoxiuos. A little extra noise is par for the course with the winters.

Be safe everyone!
