Topic: Snowtires suggestion for BMW 330ci (225/45/17)

I live in Ottawa where snow and cold weather is  
famous here. I drive in the city most of the  
time ~80% and once a month to Montreal or Toronto
Also, I go to ski hill once a week. I used to
have Pirelli Winter SnowSport 210 in the past
couple winter, but didnt like it because of the  
cornering and noise. Would you recommand which
of the following is good for me? They are those
which are still available in the market now.

Hankook Ice W300
Kumho KW 17 or 19
Dunlop Graspic DS2
PILOT ALPIN PA2

Definitely recommended staying with an H or V-rated tire on the 330ci. Although the KW19 and DS2 will offer better ice performance, the trade off in stability and drivability isnt worth it. Hankook W300, Kumho KW17 and Michelin PA2 are all great tires. Question is what you want to spend relative to what brand you feel comfortable purchasing.

Yokohama AVs Winters work on my E46 pretty well and are speed rated... Someone on the forum disliked them tho'  Sidewalls too soft.  I do not find that although my 330xi is a bit softer than a 330 ci and of course I have 205-50/17 so that adds to the softness even more...which may not be a bad thing in a winter tire.

Thanks! I guess I will go for the Hankook because
the Kumho is out of stock locally. Will report  
the quality of it later!
