In my travels to replace my Dakota Club Cab with a midsize Crew Cab Pickup I came across a creampuff 2002 Quadcab Dakota SLT. The only thing that has me a little worried is 1)Leather with no heaters 2)Full time AWD. Does anyone know if this AWD system was borrowed from Jeep? The AWD option "senses" slippage and transfers power accordingly. The system also allows the user to lock the transfer case to provide the front and rear axles with equal power. It also has a 4Lo option. Does anyone have experience with this system?

Experience no, but it likely is an adaptation of the Jeep Quadra-Drive.

As for the bum warmers, $500 bucks will get you a good after-market tusch-toaster.
