I'm hoping to put 16" winter tires (from a 1999 4Runner) on my 2003 Sport Edition 4Runner which has 17" alloys.  Problem is, the 16" Toyota steel wheels don't clear the front brake calipers on my 2003 4Runner.
Any suggestions?  Is there a 16" steel wheel that can clear the Sport Edition front calipers?

You will have to go with the 17" Toyota steels. There are no 16" wheels available that we are aware of. The problem you are experiencing is common on newer vehicles as front calipers seem to be getting bigger and bigger.
