ABS failure on 2001 GM Sierra

I have recently been in the shop for a low speed sensor replacement on the right front side. Four months ago I had the other side done. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems?

ABS issues, not going there. This sounds like a real "discussion" we had on this board the day. ABS systems are tempermental and designed to disable if there's an problem. Speed sensor replacements on some vehicles are a common issue. Your best to take it back to the dealer or shop that did the work and have the check the whole system{wiring and connector included} while replacing the sensor.

Shaq Welcome to the Forum, these sensors being located where they are receive a lot of muck and moisture when in service. All vehicles sooner or later will have trouble with this part. Next time in the shop have your mechanic inspect the remaining ones and hope they will be able to possibly clean them up to protect them a bit longer. Sooner or later all exposed parts will wear.

"Sooner or later all exposed parts will wear."

For sure.  Ask Judy Sgro.

Shaq - You any relation to Ernest?  I read your profile.  It's not a last name that one comes across every day.
