SAAB SPG TURBO
« on: December 02, 2004, 05:27:52 pm »
Any thoughts on whether a Saab SPG Turbo would be a good winter car while the 911 is in storage?

Also, any leads on mint ones with low km?  I have done tons of searching and can't find any quality with low kms.

Let me know

Dean

It would be an extremely fun car to drive, and a rare one too, but you should be prepared to constantly perform some bits of maintainance here and there. An SPG in a good condition can be found around $4000, or less if you don't mind some restoration. I've recently seen a couple for $1000 on the Auto Trader. Almost bought one ;). I wouldn't look at the mileage that much, the overall condition of the car and the maintenance history matters more at this age.
