Ed...if you want a good steering wheel for the XBox...get the Ferrari one.  The Mad Catz one is OK but not great...it's a spring loaded wheel.

Snowy, I’ve seen pics of machines that used Archimedes screws for traction. Some military prototypes were put together in the 30’s, for all terrain troop carriers, as well as being used as alternatives to bulldozers in woods work. As I understand it, there were problems with the bearings, which limited the loads, as well as wear problems of the augers. Not to mention tearing the terrain to crap when pulling a load.

I tried to find pics on the web but didn’t get much.

Thanks for the tip MDX. It's really hard to try out the wheel before you buy, unless the store has a bunch of them set up.

I saw this cool joystick online that I was thinking of getting, but when I tried it out in the store, it felt like crap, so no-go.

In the meantime, I'm gonna have to borrow my friend's copy of Colin McRae Rally 2 for PC, as well as his steering wheel.

Logitech makes a wheel for PS2 but not for XBox. What's up with that?  Anti-Microsoft?

Not on the list, but I'd take a couple tickets to the NASCAR Nextel Cup night race in Bristol, Tenn, in Aug.05 or a booked slot at any track for the Richard Petty Driving Experience (the one up from the 1st level one I already did). Not much into "stuff", rather have the thrill and excitement.

Oh, that's right Ed.  I forgot about Logitech's NASCAR-branded wheel for the XBox.  I'd rather have one like the Driving Force Pro or the  Formula GP wheel I have on my PC.

Neat, that Glove makes good sense and reasonably priced. An excellant idea.

They are perfect for the substance abuser in your family. Never have to roll up in the dark with a flashlight in your teeth.
