Mannix remote starter/alarm

I'm gonna install a Mannix one in my 94 Honda Civc Hatchback (stick). Does anyone have any suggestion about that? I have installed other remote starter for automatic transmission cars, but no idea how it works in a stick car.

I think you have to always leave the car in N otherwise the car will not start.  Since I always left the car in gear when parked, an auto starter would never work for me.

If you like the car, save your money and don't put a remote starter on it. Older car with older wiring being tapped into everywhere is the perfect recipe for getting very well acquainted with an mechanic specializing in electrical nightmares.

Personally, I don't trust manny-tranny remote start systems.  The sensors have failed, and people have had their car drive away when started.  When I was in the biz, we wouldn't sell them as our insurance liability was way too high.  The extra coverage was astronomical.  Even under cash-and-carry, we were to pay a premium.
