I have a Mazda P5 with 195-50-16 AS, I have an opportunity to buy some used Michelin Alpin tires on 5 bolt 15" rims 205-50-15, according to the dimension chart I should be okay on tire size but I don't know if I can use the wheels they come with - 15" 5 bolt off Volkswagen.  Can anybody tell me for sure.

Tires will work great! However, the wheel is not the proper bolt pattern. The Mazada Protege 5 requires a 5x114.3 and the VW is 5x100.
