How much?!
« on: November 24, 2004, 06:18:42 pm »
Ok, I'm driving a 99 Hyundai Tiburon. There's about 101 500 km on her. She has not been in any serious accidents. The side door panel had to be replaced last summer, and the bearings wore out a few months ago, and were also replaced.

Any estimates on how much my car would be worth?

Somewhere around $3-4,000 as a trade-in depending on model and equipment.

Welcome to the Forum How, Sterling is pretty close to the value on the marketplace to-day. More details may bring up the value somewhat.

Wow 3-4000$ for a 99?? I certainly would've thought a lot more than that! Damn! My 99 CRV got me 11,000$ as trade in 2 months ago! It had something like 75,000km though, but still, 101,500km isn't that high for a 5 years old vehicle!!!

Wow you guys aren't very nice.

October CBB on a clean 99 SE is $9050.00, $300 higher than a 99 Civic Si.

Average is $8050.00, 100k on a 6 year old car should be in this range.

A base model in rough condition is $4500.

Thats very good to hear for the owners of these cars as it looks like they are holding their value quite well. Hyundai's efforts and quality are really starting to show thru. Good for them.
