Neon Thermostat Location

Can someone please confirm a '98 Neon 2.0L SHOC thermostat is located at the bottom instead of the top of radiator?  What tools are required to replace the thermostat?  Would like to learn how to do it so any watchout/advices would be appreciated.

 Follow the upper rad hose. The thermostat is located in the housing on the cyl head. 2 ten mm bolts hold the housing on. The gask is part of the thermostat.
