If you're trading, YES. If not, no. Not sure about regs in Ontario, or wherever you are, but in Alberta, you'd have to have the car pass a safety inspection, and few cars that age will pass without work. If your Sentra will, then Barrie is right, it's a good bet to sell since the buyer can just start driving.
We are getting rid of our own 88 626 now, and it's in great shape, but still needs about $700 to pass the inspection. Since the car would fetch $1200-1500 certified, I would be lucky to get $500-700 for it.
On trade, nothing. No dealer would resell the car, so they just wholesale it off right away. The car is just a bother to them.
