Is there anyone else out there experiencing major problems with the transmissions in the Nissan Altimas? Or, do I really have the only "bad one" as the manufacturer suggest?

Woodys, acouple of posters here have had or do have these kinds of cars and possibly someone will come along before too long. In the meantime try this site:

The vehicle listings are long and alphabetical.

I have a 2005 alty and haven't experienced problems. However, I have heard of a few problems with the tranny on the 02s in the states.

I have a 2005 Maxima that I am having problems with. It shifts very hard/jerky. When you are going about 20 mph (school zones, etc) it shifts rom 2nd to 3rd to 2nd to 3rd and it is really rough. Have you had any response from Nissan?
