This is a bit of a silly question, but does the big yellow sticker on the side of the V8-powered XC90"PUV" presented at SEMA feature tongue in cheec tribute to Ferrari's logo in the form of a a prancing moose?

Gkjsooley,
No idea to your question but are you any relation to Dan Sooley the Lawyer in Toronto?

Do you realize that in about 40 years, we'll have thousands of old ladies running around with tattoos?

Can't answer that question either but Welcome to the Forum Gkjsooley. Maybe S60 can answer the question.

Yes, welcome.
Funny, Dan had a younger brother named Ken. Quite a coincidence really...

Welcome GK, regarding the moose on the XC90 PUV,
I think is some humor thrown at the Swedes, moose
being a common site in the swedish countryside.

Ferrari - prancing horse
Volvo -  moose

Thats my take on the moose.

Nice looking XC90, but I would take the S40 or
V50.

Yes you are probably right S60. I mean, Saab even does the moose test when testing safety features.

I understand why there would be a prancing moose - my question was to confirm whether that is what is on the sticker or not - I can't tell from the images of the SEMA XC90 that I've seen.  I think it's hilarious!  If there is a moose on the sticker, I want one for my '93 850!

93 850? Now you've peaked my interest. Care to share some details of your ride?

That Volvo looks OK...but a moose?  Sh*t....that is tacky and ruins the whole car.  It's almost as bad as all the ricers slapping all those stickers on their 88 Civic hatchback.  :-)

Bullit,

My 1993 850 GLT is pretty bog standard.  It's turquoise, has 215,000km, black leather interior, sunroof,  4-speed auto tranny.  No tuning or body mods.  Nothing exciting, but I love it.

Hey nothing wrong with that gkjsooley. My 240 is stalk as well, and it suits me fine, although my naughty side sometimes wonders what she'd be like with a few mods

Speaking of modded Volvos, here is some info and pics regarding the S40 Evolve from SEMA. Enjoy
