I'm surprised nobody's mentioned a "British mirror" method yet. If your car is produced for right hand drive markets, you should be able to order a right hand drive passenger mirror (read: the LEFT side mirror), which would likely be convex. I had one installed over a year ago, and it's truly amazing. Yes, it took some getting used to, but left side blind spot is completely gone!
