Immobilizers and Remote Starter?

I currently have an factory immobilizer in my G35.  I was told that if I installed aftermarket remote starter, it would creat a backdoor to the immobilizer, since it needs a bypass module. So basically this will make the immobilizer less effective?

It would be pointless to install 2 immobilizers in one car right?

Because now I am thinking about installing Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5, or one of the IBC (Insurance Bureau of Canada) approved immobilizer.

The remote starter will compromise the security of the factory immobilizer, and any other anti-theft device you install.  It's the price you'll have to pay to be able to remotely start the car.

However, the G35 has standard heated seats and other than the possibility of using the cold temp feature for starting where no plug-in is available, I'm not sure why the G35 needs a remote start.
