MAJOR LEXUS TRANSMISSION ISSUES??

Help! I have always been a loyal toyota customer and been quite impressed with their impeccable service. Presently I am faced with a major dilema. I am considering purchasing a 2005 Lexus ES330. However, upon doing some research on this vehicle, I discovered thousands of complaints related to the ES330's transmission. Has anyone heard of or experinced any of these problems in Canada?
