Thanks Siraquaman64,

Though, after the Passat's interior, I'm a little disappointed by the Jetta. Its probably more in keeping with a small/sporty image Vs large/luxorious for Passat.

Funny how it works, I love the new Golf V/GTI interior, clean, functionnal and definitely VW-like.

The new Passat interior tries too much and it doesn't look good. It's like they wanted to copy a BMW interior or something.

So... I don't like the exterior designs of their new generation Jetta/Golf/GTI and Passat, and I don't like the new Passat's interior, but love the new GTI interior.

"LOVE" is such an evocative word..how does the interior "clean-up" ????...no need to rate the tailpipes..........

Saf, that's terrible!!!

Seriniter, I'm not disappointed by the Jetta. I think the centre vents look kind of cheesy, but don't think it looks cheap or anything. I think the design is functional with most buttons up high, and the design couldn't be as swooping and dramatic as Passat because the car itself is much smaller and dashes like that take up space for knees, etc.

They look very different, as opposed to today's design where the Passat echos the same basic look in bigger and more upscale flair.

I'll have to see it at the auto show I guess.

Absolutely! I've no issues at all with functionality or quality, its just not as radical a makeover as the Passat got...
