Hey Erik Welcome to the post!
An 05 vibe eh, i personally dont like the new front, interior looks nice.
The base vibe is 19 900
Awd 23 755
Vibe GT is 25 670
Are you also interested in its cousin the Toyota Matrix i would go for that car has the nice european style (white) rear lights, and the realiability is much better.

Are you sure Akim911? Because those prices seem to be the MSRP.

Also, I don't see how the reliability of a Matrix would be much better than the Vibe, since they both have Corolla guts.

There are some good reasons to go for the Matrix though.  One is the cheaper base model if you want a stripper.  Another is the lease terms are much more favorable due to the higher residual values being offered.  Which brings me to my last reason, the Matrix has better resale value if you are buying and plan to get rid of it down the road.

Thanks for the replies people.
I've considered the matrix, but i really don't like its looks.  More importantly, though, the safety features that are a "must" for me and my wife are not available for the matrix, such as side airbags and stability control.  It's kind of disappointing that toyota thinks US buyers can have side airbags but canadians don't need em :-(.

i'm still a big fan of toyota and japanese cars in general.  the only reason i'm considering a pontiac is because i know the vibe is still a toyota inside.  i'm aware that the depreciation on the pontiac will be much more, but that's just something i'll live with.

i am also aware that the 04 vibes are on clearance and i can get a much better deal on those, but again the safety features are only available on the 05's.

My wife already has her mind set on the vibe, and we already "agreed" that that was final... i'm also finished considering and test driving a bunch of other car/wagons from toyota, mazda, and even vw... but we keep comin back to the vibe.
thanks for the prices, Akim911, but those look like msrp.

To anyone here who has factory ordered a vibe recently, how long was the wait time?  thanks.
