I thought 05 G35s now have a chest-thumping, STi eating 298hp?

The 2004 had 280HP in the coupe.  The sedan had to make due with less.

The G35 sedan M6 pricing has not been announced yet. Only the M6 will have 298 hp, the slush box remains at 280. If the M6 retails 10% more than the 2005 Altima SE-R Altima….

The SE-R does have a few different features that make it "sportier" but I would not classify it as a race inspired car. Otherwise I would have shucked out several more thousand dollars for it. Instead, I find the 3.5 SE with the leather is a very nice SEDAN that has a little edge on it.

X-Ouch...Civic Si is NOT a sporty car....jazzed up econobox that cannot come near to competing with the likes of Sentra SE-R, Mazda 3 or Lancer Ralliart. Good solid all around car...but not sporty.

"I am driving a civic si which is pretty much the same. It's a sports sedan, ya. It feels fast, don't you think? That's what asian cars are all about, you can feel the speed even you go slow."

No, it's not.  Hate to break it to ya but Civics are econoboxes that are good at one thing, not consuming gas.  The reason they feel fast when it's about to go slow?  Compare this.  Cruising on a top of the line cruiseliner at 50km/h, and going 50km/h on a wooden beat up boat.  You tell me which one feels faster.

"To be fair, the only EL I've driven is the 97-00 one. That car didn't really feel sporty to me. Maybe the new one is better. I believe my own senses when it comes to defining a sports car, sports sedan... "

It's cuz it isn't a sports car, or a sports sedan.  It is a glorified rebadged Civic.  I put lengths and lenghts on a 1.6EL with my '96 Windstar 3.8L, that puts down 200hp and 240ft-lbs tq.

Jopn04cts - if you hang in here awhile you'll get to know the posters and their usefulness on this site. Saf is our slightly demented genius punster and wit. You have to be able to go 100 rounds with Saf in order to move to the next level here. It is a struggle but worth it - stick around and see.

Was just reading about the Sentra SE-R. Seems like quite the car with the extra detailing they've done.

Really like the seats and wheels.

Nobody really cares to the point that you need to prove what you drive.  Anybody can go and lift pictures off the internet and post it here claiming it is their picture....don't laugh....it is sad but it has happened here on several occasions.  So if you say you own what you own....that's what you own then.

Jon dont worry about pics and some 'strange' comments....

BTW i did post some pics in the past clainning that a 300C belonged to my friend...when actually those pics were taken from the web...
big issue for some...not so big for others...but lesson was learned, and thats the most important thing coz humans are attemped to make mistakes and we are all humans arent we?

BTW I would like to see some pics from your CTS (really like the looks of that car)....but not coz i doubt u own it...but coz i like the car!!!

and Happy new year dude!!!

actually most of us aren't even old enough to drive cars. We just like to think we have knowledge on cars and pretend we own them. hehehehehe
