Intermitting Short-Caravan 92 LE

Well it did its thing again.  Got it to a garage, but while they were scanning it, they couldn't find anything.  They kept it for a while & a little later while showing one of the other guys how to use the scanner, it tripped up.  They pulled the code off it.  Turns out to be the Alt. it had an intermitting short.  Some-thing to due with the brushes and a wire.  
Total bill for scan, Alt & Labor came out to 600.00  But this should be the last time.

We hope its the final fix for you as well as that is a little steep for a alternator and new brush's. Probably one of the wires had a loose connector on it which can be hard to find sometimes. Worn brush's go with the age of the alternator.

 :D Well its been over a year since that 600.00 repair bill & not an ounce of trouble with it since then.  :drive2:
