Reliable as an anvil and just about as exciting!
Actually I don’t find the car to be as bland as some of the others folks on here. Better power to weight ratio than the Civic for instance, but the ride is definitely comfort biased.
Sound insulation could be better, but then mine is a wagon and they generally transmit more road noise than sedans.
Have had nothing but regular scheduled services and replaced wear items: brake pads & shoes, filters etc.
Parts seem to be cost about the same as for North American cars.
It doesn’t take any oil between changes.
It gets about 43-44 on the hwy, mid to high 30’s in the city.
Mine has a full size spare, don’t know about the sedans, but a nice feature none the less.
I’d get a manual transmission over the auto.
Keep an eye on the cam belt, as it is an interference type motor, broken belt ==permanently dead motor!
Like a good woman or a good dog, may not be much to look at but will never let you down and loyal to the end!(I'm so toast!
