Hey, I drove cars WAY worse than that Sentra. For $2400 that's a pretty good car. If you can still get $200 for your car, you're on the way...

gotta find a charity to take it first.

Sentra's are reliable good cars. The 323's are as well. Those will last you another 5 years at least.

In Alberta...I think there's a few that will just come and pick it up and give you $200 receipt or something. Can't think of it off the top of my head.

Kidney foundation. We're thinking of donating our 626, but it is a good running car and I could probably get $1500 for it. $1500 would fund a fun gear-whoring day at Mountain Equipment Co-op.

Any place in Montreal that takes cars and gives tax receipts??

And what do the tax receipts do for you? Do you get like tax refund or something?

Donations to charities are tax deductible. So, it could get you a tax refund if you are in that situation. It will lower your taxable income and you help a good cause. Win win situation.

Some of the Car Shows in Ont take these older engine tired cars for Charity. They hold a contest with a Brick on the Gas Pedal and drain the water and oil out of the engine, we place bets on the time the man Yells "THAR SHE BLOWS". They usually have 2 different makes so you can see which one Pops 1st. Makes it more interesting. You get a Nice Tax Receipt for the Car. Your Choice but you now have 1 more to consider.
