Just got a turbo, 2.2L, 5-speed, 231K. Good body. First car for one of the kids. Anyone care to offer their experiences and advice?

I just know that the 91 and up were very reliable.
Only minor problems like oxygen sensor.  Might also be true for previous years.

Those cars have a quite a cult following.  The non-turbo models are fairly ordinary, but I think the turbo ones are cool. I found a web forum for Mopar owners of all kinds. Looks like quite a busy site, and could be a good source of repair/maintenance/modification info.

A buddy of mine had a an 85 Daytona with the 2.2 Turbo in high school.  He had a few issues with it, but that thing went like stink!  Ah, good times.   8)

Anything that will pass a government safety and runs down the road is worth a $1000.  Anything  :)

years ago my had a 1990 Dodge Shadow (clone of Sundance) with the 2.5L 4cyl and 5spd. Peppy little car but her's had peeling paint (all the light blue ones did) and tons of electrical gremlins.

My dad's 92 has very little paint left on the hood, roof, trunk lid and upper doors.  He says the paint is coming off because he drives so fast.   ::)  Thank God for the primer.
