how much would Subaru charge to do tranny fix-ups?
would most be voided due to "Racing"?

my fear is getting a used WRX and then, if the tranny's been abused, it'll break down on me and Subaru will tell me to not race it and deny me warranty when it was the last person who raced the crap out of it.

tranny issues are far in b/t in WRXs. most occurs with those that mod their cars. You can easily tell if the tranny is on it's death row during a test drive.

what kind of signs indicate a soon-to-be-dead tranny?
