Tokyo, Japan – Subaru has unveiled the world premiere of the Subaru BRZ Concept-STI at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It is based on the Subaru BRZ, an all-new, rear-wheel drive compact sports car developed from an ongoing joint project between Subaru and Toyota.
The concept uses a Subaru 2.0-litre horizontally-opposed four-cylinder engine that includes Toyota’s D-4S direct fuel injection technology. The engine was developed exclusively for the BRZ.
Other features include a low hood, hexagonal lower front grille, hawk-eye headlights, fin-shaped headlamps, carbon fibre roof, and STI-made lower front spoiler and rear wing.
